ByteFix provides PC repair, custom builds, upgrades, and diagnostics in Teesside and surrounding areas. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our services and website.2. Services Provided
ByteFix offers:
PC diagnostics and troubleshooting
Hardware repairs and replacements
Custom PC builds
System upgrades (GPU, RAM, storage, cooling, etc.)
Virus and malware removal
General IT support3. Payment Terms
Payments are due upon completion of service.
We accept cash, bank transfer, and PayPal.
Custom PC builds will require the parts to be bought by the customer and an additional charge depending on the parts, will be required for building the PC.
The option to build the PC at a location provided by the customer or at one allocated by us, with collection of the parts to be discused if needed.4. Refund & Return Policy
We want you to be satisfied with our services and products.4.1 Refund Eligibility
PC Repairs & Services: If you are not satisfied with our service, you may request a refund within 14 days of completion.
Hardware Sales & Custom Builds: Refunds are available within 14 days if:
The item is damaged or defective.
The customer is unhappy with the purchase.4.2 Refund Conditions
Returned items must be in original condition with all accessories.
Custom-built PCs are eligible for refunds only if faulty, as they are tailored to customer specifications.
Refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 7 business days.5. Warranty Policy
Repairs and upgrades come with a 30-day service warranty (excluding pre-existing issues).
Any hardware provided by ByteFix includes a manufacturer’s warranty (if applicable).
We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, overclocking, or third-party interference after service completion.6. Liability Disclaimer
ByteFix is not responsible for any data loss during repairs. We recommend backing up important files before service.
We do not guarantee that a repair will fix all system issues, especially for aging or failing hardware.
ByteFix is not liable for indirect damages, including lost work, data, or business due to device failure.7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule an appointment up to 24 hours in advance.
If a technician has already started work, a partial service fee may apply.8. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth service, customers must:Provide accurate information about their PC issue.
Ensure devices are accessible for repairs.
Remove any sensitive data before service begins.9. Governing Law
